Prince William has offered his congratulations to his younger brother for his engagement but also could not resist poking fun at him.
The second-in-line to the throne joked that Prince Harry had a habit of pinching food from his house, as they are neighbours in the grounds of Kensington Palace, and he hoped it might change in the near future.
Speaking in Finland, Prince William said the royal couple were “very caught up in the moment” of their engagement, which is bringing joy to their family.
He quipped: “And for me personally I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, it will stop him scrounging off all my food, he’s done over the last few years.”

The father-of-two said the family is “all very excited, delighted for them both and wishing them all the happiness in this very exciting time”.
He added: “It’s a fantastic process you go through, the engagement and the build up to the wedding and things like that.
“So they’ve got a lot of happy times ahead of them and I think they’re very caught up in the moment and I wish them all the happiness and success in planning the wedding, I hope it goes really well.”
Prince Harry announced his engagement to Meghan Markle on Monday, after weeks of speculation.
