The roof of the Burj Al Arab isn’t quite the stratosphere that Anthony Joshua is aiming for in the boxing world – but not far from it.
Joshua joined the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Roger Federer by plying his trade on the renowned helipad in a big budget video to promote a health and well-being drive in Dubai.
The release of the video, which shows Joshua looking in top condition, followed almost immediately after New Zealand heavyweight Joseph Parker goaded the Brit into accepting a fight with him.
Joshua holds the IBF, WBA and IBO belts, so it seems logical that he starts trying to unify the divisions not in his grasp – the WBC title held by Deontay Wilder and the WBO in Parker’s possession.
Parker taunted Joshua on Wednesday by releasing footage of his knockdowns and offering £20,000 to anyone who can prove he has been floored.
