Jose Mourinho might have settled well into the Premier League, winning two trophies in his debut season at the Old Trafford but that has not been the case off the pitch after choosing to live in the luxury Lowry hotel in Manchester.
The Portuguese boss has stayed in the exclusive pad since he arrived at Manchester United last summer while his family remained in London as he frequently travelled to the capital city on regular basis despite his hectic schedule.
It is understood that Mourinho racked up about £298,000 bill after staying in his exclusive suite for 12 months. His suite which features standard WiFis and Television, with a relaxation area and a dining room; the Portuguese is also entitled to the use of gym and spa facilities at the Lowry Hotel.
Jose Mourinho will hope to able to lure his identified targets this summer as he hopes to bolster his squad. When asked about his transfer plans, he said: “I got fed up and tired of football until the last day.
“I promised that you would not see me in football stadiums, and I stopped negotiating for players and being worried.
“I handed my list to the CEO in April and he has until August 31 to give me what I want, or not.”
