Reprudencia Sonkey, known by her stage name Dencia, got into a mild scuffle with a female valet in Paris over her own Ferrari.
Writing on her SnapChat, the Nigerian-Cameroonian singer said she parked the car at a spot in the city and as she made to leave, she caressed the hood of the car. It was that moment that valet spotted her and shoved her away from it, thinking it belonged to someone else.
An upset Dencia then caused a scene and people rushed in to mediate. “That b*tch is lucky I didn’t have a pepper spray today. She’d have had a pepper spray shower. I don’t care if it wasn’t my car. You don’t touch people you don’t know,” she said.
And the singer would have carried on with the threat if she had a pepper spray with her because she had done it before!
In 2015, she pepper-sprayed a police officer who put his hands on her at the airport in Rome. “The officer was in the hospital for 3 days cuz I emptied the bottle on him,” she shared on her Instagram. Luckily, the US Consulate stepped in to quell the situation and the singer was allowed free passage.
Now, she shares yet another experience of racism in Europe, and we wonder how it would have turned out if she had a bottle of spray with her.
