Omawumi is set to drop her third studio album titled “Timeless”.
The album is said to be released on Monday, March 27, 2017, according to her interview with Linda Ikeji Media.
The singer talks about the concept of the album title, saying she was not bound by time or trends during her creation process of making the album.
“I played with different genres, I went to a place where time doesn’t exist to make this music, I wasn’t held back by any restriction of time or trend, I just did,” adding that the listener would appreciate what she’s saying even better when they get to listen to the LP.
The album “Timeless” will be released under Cabal Entertainment, which has an affiliation with Roc Nation Africa.
“Timeless” follows her critically acclaimed debut studio album “Wonder Woman” (2009) and sophomore “Lasso of Truth” album (2013).
The singer earlier in January 2017 released a lead single ‘Butterflies‘ expected to be on the forthcoming album.
Her collaboration song ‘Play na play’ featuring Angelique Kidjo released back in January 2016 is also expected to make the cut on the album.
The official album tracklist and cover artwork is yet to be released by the singer and Cabal Entertainment, the newly founded outfit run by Obi Asika and Chris Ubosi, two renowned entertainment executives.
