Davido is proud of himself right now. The DMW boss’ new single, ‘If’ is fast spreading all over the world and he deserves some accolades for it.
After topping MTV Base African music chart with ‘If’, the singer shared another footage of American singer Omarion jamming and vibing the track inside his ride.
Davido couldn’t hide his excitements, he headed to Instagram, shared the video to appreciate Omarion for the love. “The bro @1omarion feeling da ‘IF’ vibes!” he wrote.

The bro @1omarion feeling da 'IF' vibes! All last year , they tried to change my sound .. saying staying true to my culture wouldn't work for me outside Africa! This year I fought and pleaded for 'them' to allow me make the music I know how to make and now see what's happened!! MUSIC AINT GOT A LANGUAGE !! NOW I GOT THE BIGGEST SONG IN AFRICA ONCE AGAIN! THANK TO JAH!!
Davido further revealed that Sony Music attempted to change his style of music but, he refused to make it happen. “All last year , they tried to change my sound .. saying staying true to my culture wouldn’t work for me outside Africa,” he said.
He continued, “This year I fought and pleaded for ‘them’ to allow me make the music I know how to make and now see what’s happened!!”
Davido added in what appears like a subtle diss at Sony Music, he said; “Music aint got a language!! Now I got the biggest song in Africa once again! Thank to Hah!!”
