According to reports, EbonyLife TV has announced that 2015 hit film, Fifty, will return as TV series soon.
Pulse NG reports that, “the series will follow the plot of movie which chronicles the lives of four fifty-year old women living in Lagos. There has been no details on returning cast.”
Fifty tells the story of four middle-aged Nigerian women who take inventory of their personal lives, while juggling careers and family against the sprawling backdrops of the upper middle-class neighbourhoods of Ikoyi and Victoria Island in Lagos.
Directed by Biyi Bandele, and produced by Tope Oshin, the film had a stellar cast of Omoni Oboli, Ireti Doyle, Dakore Egbuson, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Emmnuel Ikubese, Kemi Lala Akindoju, among others.
For commercial purposes, it is certain one or more of the casts will return, but we can’t say who.
