News: Workers Try to Complete Tomb Before Burial Service Of Pastor Obadare

Works are in progress to complete the final resting place for the late renowned evangelist of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Prophet Timothy Obadare, at the WOSEM international Conference Ground, Shiloh, Ileki Area in Ilesa, Osun State.

Builders and other workers, including volunteers from the CAC, are trying to complete the tomb before the August 17 date when the evangelist would finally be laid to rest.

According to the son of the late preacher, Pastor Abraham Obadare, the only unfulfilled dream of his late father was to take the gospel to some parts of the world before his demise, while the greatest wish of his father was to spread the gospel of Christ to all the nooks and crannies of the world.

“My father was a committed follower of Christ and his greatest assignment while on earth wasthe spread of gospel. His all time desire was to win more souls to the body of Christ.

“The only thing he would have loved to do, but for death, was to work towards ensuring that more souls are won to the kingdom of God.

“He had wished that more souls were reached by him in various parts of the world. He wanted more souls to be won to the kingdom of God and wished that everybody on earth knew God. This he would have loved to continue but for his death,” Abraham Obadare said.

Activities marking the late preacher’s final journey started with a lying-in-state on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

On Monday, August 12, the ceremony will continue with a Commendation service at the All CAC Coordinating Council Headquarters, Lagos at 4 pm.

Another lying-in state will hold on August 15 at Koseunti Prayer Ground opposite Oyemekun GrammarSchool, Akure in Ondo State at 12 noon.

This will be followed by a Christian wake-keep on August 16 at 4pm, and a praise night from 7 pm till dawn at the New WOSEM International Conference Ground Shiloh, Ileki Area, Ilesa.

The burial service will hold on August 17 at 10.00 am. It will be followed by the interment at the WOSEM International Conference Ground at Shiloh, Ileki Area of Ilesa
