The scary stalker experience Jennifer Lopez faced at her home has come to an end. A man named John Dubis, who was living in the pool house of the American Idol judge’s Hamptons mansion for a full week, has been arrested on charges including burglary, stalking and criminal contempt. Lopez was not home that week and had no idea that Dubis was staying in the pool house, which is opposite the property where Lopez lives.
Dubis has pleaded not guilty to all the charges related to stalking Lopez at her Southampton home. He is currently being held at Suffolk County Jail in lieu of posting $100,000 bail. He has also been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation in order to determine if he is fit to stand trial for the criminal charges. Lopez already had an order of protection against Dubis after he contacted her mother earlier this year.
