A tour bus connected to rapper 2 Chainz was pulled over late Wednesday in Oklahoma City, leading to a mini-standoff after its occupants would not allow officers to board.
According to NewsOK.com, the central Oklahoma drug interdiction task force stopped the bus on I-40 after determining there was evidence of illegal drugs inside. The driver then exited and locked the vehicle from the outside, refusing access to officers, a police spokesperson said.
The occupied bus was then towed to a police training center, where a search warrant was presented. All the passengers exited, were arrested and taken to the Oklahoma County jail “on complaints of interfering with official process,” said police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.
Police say there were about 10 people aboard the vehicle, but it’s unclear if the rapper — who had earlier performed with Lil Wayne at the Chesapeake Energy Arena — was among the passengers. Whether Wayne was on the bus is also unknown. Both artists have contrary last messages on their Twitter accounts as of noon ET.
