For those who think the delectable Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola has seen and done it all in the industry as far as emotional roles are concerned, the new musical movie,

Hoodrush will perhaps change this perception as the amiable actress finds love and demonstrates more affection in the new Nollywood flick.

Hoodrush is a musical flick starring some of the best and emerging young talents in Nollywood; O.C Ukeje, Gabriel Afolayan, Chelsea Eze, Ijeoma Agu, Lilian Byoma and a host of others. The movie was directed by Dimeji Ajibola, a new comer in feature film who has done quite a number of production works for multinationals, media houses and has a number of short films to his credit. Hoodrush is produced by Flipsyde Studios where Dimeji is the CEO.For Bimbo Akintola, starring in Hoodrush was just another step in the right direction as she has always been known for stellar performances in her roles. The Theatre Arts graduate of University of Ibadan started her foray into acting when she starred in Owo Blow, a movie which announced her to industry watchers. It was therefore not surprising that she was already making money for herself, even before she left the university. Following on the heels of Owo Blow, was an equally great performance in Out of Bounds, where she acted alongside prolific actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD). Synopsis: Hoodrush tells a story of two brothers closely bonded by their love for music; but deeply separated by their means for success. Shez(O.C Ukeje) and Tavier(Gabriel Afolayan) are two of a kind pursuing a Herculean dream of becoming music stars. But all they have is their amazing vocal talents, good looks, a crib in the ghetto and a menial job that could hardly pay for their clothing and feeding expenses.

They soon realize they need more to achieve their dreams, and participating and hoping to win a credible talent hunt show comes as their only natural option.
