YouTube star Stevie Ryan has passed away, aged 33. She committed suicide by hanging in her Los Angeles home over the weekend.
Stevie was known best for her Little Loca series on YouTube and celebrity impersonations. She starred in the VH1 comedy series Stevie TV and was a co-host on Brody Jenner’s talk show Sex with Brody.
Stevie earlier hinted at depression resulting from her grandfather’s death in a recent episode of her ‘Mentally Ch(ill)’ podcast. “I’m just worried that this is going to send me into a deeper depression,” she said during the episode, according to People.
Stevie also twitted about her grandfather’s death on Friday before she took her own life. “The man of my dreams will now only be in my dreams. I’ll miss you everyday, forever. I love you my Pa,” she said.
