Senate president Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu were seen jubilating with supporters after charges of criminal conspiracy against them were dropped.
Saraki and Ekweremadu were seen holding hands with happy supporters surrounding them.

The federal government filed a petition to withdraw the charge after an affidavit had been filed before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory by the litigation officer from the federal ministry of justice, Odubu Loveme, on Thursday, October 6.
