Entertainment and lifestyle website, Daily Mail has thrown the spotlight on some of the Rich kids of Africa.
These kids are said to be giving rich kids of Russia, UK and the US stiff competition.
Collecting their information from The Richkidsnaija Instagram account, they listed E-money as Nigeria’s youngest billionaire as he lives in a gold decked house and they highlighted his use of a money gun to spray cash on guests at weddings.
Bureau de change CEO, Mompha is also said to pay cash for sprees at Valentino, Hermes, Cavalli and Versace.
Rapper and designer Bayo Adewale AKA Bnaira also makes the list as he is said to be fond of throwing cash around at parties.
Some others mentioned in the article include Noble Igwe, Davido, Mocheddah, Huddahbosschick and Hushpupi.
The article which was written by Siofrra Brennan reeks of Ignorance all over.
The article which was published on Thursday, October 20, 2016 shows the Daily Mail writer clearly failed to do her research on who the billionaire Nigerian kids are.
In the beginning, she mentions E-Money, Noble Igwe, and Mo’Cheddah as rich kids.
E-Money is a fully grown rich man who loves showing off. E-Money is the father of 3 kids. If anything, his kids should be the ‘Rich Kids’. A simple Google search would have sufficed.
Mo’Cheddah is a music artiste and she’s is far from entering the Forbes Africa list.
Ms Brennan also used a photo of Noble Igwe and Ebuka on his wedding day and wrongly captioned it “Two men in matching suits show off the purchase of a new Mercedes vehicle.”
The article was filled with so many errors. South African hot couple AKA and Bonang Matheba were also tagged as Nigerians in the article alongside Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe.
The real ‘Rich Kids of Nigeria’ DJ Cuppy, the Mbadiwe twins, Adama Indimi, Temi Otedola, Dangote’s daughters etc weren’t even anywhere close to the list.
