For couple of weeks now, there has been so much drama on the social media front, from the normal celebrity-troll to drama to shocking deaths of personalities in the entertainment industry to fans shaming celebrities and then to bitter exchange of words by media personalities.
The Kemi Olunloyo and Dayo Amusa’s drama all started on June 13th 2016 when Dayo Amusa called out Kemi Olunloyo who had earlier tagged Jide Kosoko a ritualist when his wife, Henrietta Kosoko died. Olunloyo called for Jide Kosoko to be investigated for ritualism and occult practices as Henrietta was Jide Kosoko’s third wife to die.
Since then, these two media personalities hasn’t ceased in calling themselves names, exposing and washing each other dirty linens to the public. They went as far as revealing hidden documents and not backing down from calling out each other to the an ever-attentive audience on the social media. However, the issue has passed all the Jide Kosoko’s wife death and metamorphose to a more heated individual exchange of abusive words and names.
As role models to the upcoming youths, they shouldn’t be involved in such acts. They should however remember they aren’t Karma or God to dictate what becomes of someone as only God knows and permits what becomes of someone.
However, the family of the late actress, Henrietta Kosoko have accepted their loss but with this constant battle and exchange of words, this will continually be a reminder of their loss, the family members at the moment are trying to move on with their lives.
This is a time to let the sleeping dog lie, bury the hatchet and forget about all individual differences to embrace love and unity.
