Yesterday, the trial of PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, was stalled and adjourned to May 23rd as he repeatedly threw up at the court.
Metuh became ill last night and was rushed to the hospital where he was told the medical staff were on strike by his brother-in-law, Andy Aghaji. He however was lucky as he met a doctor who prescribed some drugs for him and gave him an appointment for another medication by 11am today…Etiaba Etiaba, Counsel to Olisa Metuh said
Having told the doctor about his court date today, the doctor advised him to go and brought back to the hospital immediately after his court appearance.
Getting to the court premises, he began to vomit again and couldn’t enter the court as he had no strength. His counsel then asked for the cas to be adjourned for him to get proper medical attention and the presiding judge adjourned the case to May 23rd
Olisa Metuh is standing trial for allegedly collecting N400 million looted from $2.1 billion arms procurement fund from the office of the Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
