American super star actress, Angelina Jolie on Monday slammed Donald Trump’s comments against Muslim, saying the billionaire’s stance did not match her vision of America. The actress and refugee envoy of the United Nations gave an impassioned plea for refugees at the BBC in London.
She closed her eyes and shook her head in disapproval when someone asked her what she thought of Trump’s stance on Muslims, CNN reported.
‘To me, America is built on people from around the world coming together for freedoms, especially freedom of religion. So it’s hard to hear this is coming from someone who is pressing to be an American president,’ Jolie, 40, said.
Trump said in December last year that Muslims should be banned from entering the United States. His comments came one month after the terror bombings that killed 130 people in Paris, France.
