Selma director Ava DuVernay is set to take on Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time.
This will be DuVernay’s first big studio blockbuster and it is based on the 1963 Madeline L’Engle novel A Wrinkle in Time, which is said to be in the same vein as the C.S. Lewis ‘Narnia’ novels.
The film will follow the plot of the original book – a sci-fi children’s adventure story from the the New York based author, who has written over 60 novels.
DuVernay also has the a Colin and Derek Trevorrow scripted Intelligent Life on the cards, which has Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o attached to star.
