One week after his death, David Bowie’s last released album, Blackstar has hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Billboard, which revealed Sunday that Blackstar nabbed the Billboard 200’s top spot, reported ‘181,000 equivalent album units’ of the album were bought.
Best of Bowie took the No. 4 slot (94,000 units), with the No. 21 slot snatched up by The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Billboard reported.
According to the news outlet, 25 by Adele and Purpose by Justin Bieber were booted to the second and third spots, respectively.
