Forget being the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Just call Prince William and Kate Middleton the Archbishops of Banterbury.
The husband-and-wife duo were delivering some top notch banter on Wednesday (Dec. 9, 2015) during an ICAP charity event in London’s financial district. Hitting the city’s trading floor to raise money for charity, the two became quite competitive and lovingly teased one another when trying to see who can gather the most funds for various causes.
“Ask nicely, pretty please, Andrew,” Kate, 33, giddily told a trader named Andrew while on the phone trying to raise money [via People]. “Have a very happy Christmas.”
Overhearing the exchange, William, 33, cheekily told his wife, “Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with them now!”
“Sorry, my wife is just embarrassing me!” William joked to another trader on the floor.
However, the royal couple’s banter didn’t stop there. After making some calls, Kate and William played some ping-pong on a table the office had set up, playfully teasing each other during throughout match.
“Come on, let’s try and have a rally of more two goes,” William told his wife. “You’re not normally this polite when we play.”
“Or this quiet,” she retorted.
