The Senate is presently probing the former EFCC boss for alleged diversion of N1 trillion.
The former EFCC staff, Abdullahi Ishaq, was among those dismissed from the anti-graft commission when Lamorde was the chairman, over alleged professional misconduct.
Ishaq also appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to review his case and those of his other ex-colleagues with a view to reinstating them into the EFCC.
“The affected operatives have been trained in different regimental exercises like handling of firearms. It is important to look into our plight because of how much the government has already spent on us and how much it will cost it to train new sets of operatives”, he said.
Ishaq further stated that most of the indicted and dismissed staff handled high-profile and sensitive cases on which they can testify.
