All is not well in the camp of Nigerian singer, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekile. The singer has petitioned the police, accusing his manager of over one year, Yusuf Adebola Adepitan of threat to life and fraud.
In a petition filed by Oritsefemi’s lawyers, OMOWA C. ADEYINKA & Co., dated May 22, 2015 and addressed to The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, the musician accused Yusuf Adebola Adepitan, aka Danku of threat to life, fraudulent activities and criminal conspiracy against the person and international image of Oritsefemi.
The petition also says Danku, without the permission of Oritsefemi, drove away a 2014 model E Vogue Range Rover SUV valued at over 24 million Naira from Oritsefemi’s house at Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos and deliberately smashed it.
It also stated that Danku again made away with Oritsefemi’s 58 million Naira and was only able to declare and disclose the sum of 5.5million Naira as the agreed income from the Taliban’s stage shows and endorsement deals in recent times.
At the moment, NET cannot independently confirm the development as Danku is not available for comments, with his phones switched off and all efforts to reach him having proved abortive.
On his own, Oritsefemi has declined to make any comment, saying he has left the issue with his lawyers to handle.
