According to the singer, accusing fingers should be pointed at the older generations of singers who have failed to raise quality artistes that they can be proud of.
In his words, “The Nigerian music industry is popular but lacks content because the right knowledge has not been properly passed from one generation to the other. We have failed to properly raise protégés across all sectors of the music industry ( from performing artistes, sound engineers, instrumentalists…). On the international stage, our sound quality and content is below par. Arguably, some of the great veterans have failed on this subject and the new generation artistes have followed suit but one artiste is deciding to be different .
