A waiter has been suspended over a with selfie snap with Manchester United footie ace Robin Van Persie.
Kyson Forde (waiter) asked the Manchester United star to pose with him at the posh Cliff restaurant in Barbados.
But the stoppage time landed Kyson and another worker in trouble as they had broken strict rules banning staff from using mobile phones in the dining area.
“Kyson is a massive Man U fan and this was his one chance to get a snap with his hero.”
Striker Van Persie was in the Caribbean for a break with wife Bouchra, son Shaqueel, eight, and five-year-old daughter, Dina after guiding Holland to a third-place
finish at the World Cup in Brazil.
During the evening, Kyson, who has work in the restaurant for four years asked for a photo with his hero, which Van Persie agreed to his dream snap.
“He had seen famous people in there before, but when Van Persie came in he couldn’t resist the chance of a snap.
A worker at the restaurant said Kyson
had been ordered not to come to work for a fortnight for using his phone on the restaurant floor.
