Osun State PDP Candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has promised the people of the state that if they vote for him in the forthcoming governorship election on August 9, he will ensure the peaceful co-existence between Christians and Muslims without any discrimination.
Omisore, who made this declaration while speaking at the interactive session with Osun State Christian Association of Nigeria at its secretariat in Owode, Ede, also promised to restore the dignity of education, emphasising on its top priority in his eight-point agenda of his Rescue Mission.
He blamed Governor Aregbesola-led government of causing problems in the education sector.
He maintained that it was wrong and totally unacceptablefor pupils to be wearing the same uniform to school, adding that such policy had bastardised education and made it difficult to identify unruly behaviour among pupils and schools.
He concluded saying “i will have the last laugh come 10th August, when the results of polls are announced.
