If you haven’t already watched the summer’s most anticipated movie release, Man of Steel, then you might want to get a move on after it’s been estimated the popular sci-fi is set to soar at the US box office this weekend.
The latest Superman franchise has so far lived up to all the hype with reviews claiming Henry Cavill’s portrayal of the famed superhero is watertight.
And it seem the Warner Brothers movie is set to rake it in at cinemas with projections that it will accumulate figures between $115-125 million this weekend alone.
Meanwhile, This Is The End is on course for second place taking in $30 million at it opening last Wednesday and estimated to take $20 million further this weekend.
Now You See Me and Fast & Furious 6 is on pace for third or fourth place, likely to take in $11 million and $9 million respectively.
However, last week’s surprise movie hit, The Purge, is expected to fall to 5th place with estimated takings of $8.5 million.
